The 8th GORE-TEX® TRANSALPINE-RUN 2012 is sold out!
Months before the race starts a registration for the GORE-TEX® TRANSALPINE-RUN is not possible anymore. There is a waiting list for the GORE-TEX® TRANSALPINE-RUN. Trailrunner who are still interested in the race should fill in the online registration. They will receive a confirmation for the waiting list. We are sorry for all those applicants who came too late and who had to be put on the waitlist for now. However, from experience we know that in the coming weeks some teams will have to cancel their participation for various reasons. That means there is still hope that your team will finally get one of the much sought-after tickets to the event and that we'll be able to welcome you on September 1st in Ruhpolding. For organizational reasons we do not want to accept more than 250 paying teams.
Don't be surprised if one or another additional team appears on the starter list. We have reserved a certain amount of team starting spots for our partners, sponsors, stage host cities and for the media, which will only by and by be integrated into the starter list. But even though the 8th GORE-TEX® TRANSALPINE-RUN is at the moment sold out there is no reason to lose hope. The chance is still there for you to be able to be part of it when our motto will once again be "Keep On Running." We are definitely keeping our fingers crossed that you might get lucky this year and, if not, that we'll be seeing you next year at the latest. Of course, we will let you know as soon as your team makes the move from the waitlist onto the official starter list. Until then we wish you successful preparations and good luck.
